About Jeanine

Jeanine’s musicianship began when she studied for nine years with Dr. Paul Wirth, a nationally recognized teacher of young artists. During this time, she placed first in the MMTA Senior Young Artist Division, performed Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No. 4 with the St. Cloud Symphony Orchestra, placed first in the MTNA State Division, and also placed in other competitions such as the St. Paul Piano Teachers Association Concerto Competition and the Lee Piano Competition.

She received her Bachelor of Music degree in Piano Performance from Concordia College in Moorhead, MN where she studied with Dr. David Worth and Dr. Slawomir Dobrzanski. When her children are older, Jeanine hopes to continue her education and pursue a Masters of Music degree.

A heavy supporter of music ensembles, Jeanine has participated in jazz, chamber, and orchestra ensembles as well as piano duos and accompanying many young artists.

From 2006-2013, Jeanine was the Assistant Artistic Director at the Wirth Center for the Performing Arts of St. Cloud, MN where she also taught piano and theory. Currently, she is teaching out of her home studio in Sartell, MN.

Jeanine is a member of MMTA, MTNA, and the Great River Music Club.

Her other interests include learning German on Duolingo, taking music related online classes, reading, drawing, going for bike rides, cooking and eating good food, and the Wizarding World of Harry Potter.

Jeanine’s husband, Micah, is a licensed financial advisor and works as a Senior Financial Associate for the Wheelock Group at RBC Wealth Management. He plays bass and sings in the band Mason Dixon Line and with Justin Ploof and the Throwbacks.

Their son, Roger (11 years old), takes piano lessons, plays travel soccer, is a member of the SJBC Choir, loves to draw, and always looks forward to GREAT Theatre’s summer camps. Their daughter, Nora (8 years old), takes piano lessons, plays soccer, loves to sing, dance, draw (cats mostly), and study bugs.
